Lean Equipment Management: How to Make the Pillars of TPM Work
This workshop will carefully explain each of the basic TPM Pillars, how they relate to each other to create a natural synergy, and how they can result in an immediate return of the TPM investment if properly established in today's maintenance and manufacturing workplace. Actual case studies will be explored to show the rates of sustained improvements and to show the relationship between TPM and the roots of Lean Manufacturing.
How to Develop a Lean Business Case for Fast LEM/TPM Results (One-half day stand alone, included above)
Getting results from TPM is essential in an equipment-intensive operation. And, TPM is the most important foundation for "Lean" because it leads to reliable equipment and culture change. This workshop includes the historical links between TPM and Lean Manufacturing (the Toyota Production System). Participants will learn how to focus TPM activities on business results, and change the work culture. The key is how to select TPM starting points that get sustainable results in two weeks to two months. Actual case examples will be presented along with applying the "business case" principle to an actual case study exercise.
